Description
FREE digital download tote pattern. Overall size is 11″ tall and 18″ wide at the widest point. This is a fairly easy pattern and I would classify it as an advanced beginner. You will need to be able to sew straight lines and follow instructions and curve your vinyl while stitching it around a rounded corner, which takes some finger strength and patience and close attention.
Cut List:
Handles- 4 pieces 1.25”X30”
Top Binding- 1 piece 1.5”x38”
Side Panels- 2 pieces 9”x11.75”
Back Panel- 1 piece 10”x15”
Front Panel (printed picture piece)- 10”x10” (uses the 12.5″x12.5″ purse panels trimmed to size)
Front Panel Base- 1 piece 10”x5.5”
OPTIONAL: Lining fabric (cotton woven, canvas, waterproof canvas, etc.) cut 2 back panels and 2 side panels out of your lining fabric.
Fairytale Prints Shopping List: (non-directional vinyl)
- 12.5×12.5 panel (clear or regular)
- 12”x48” roll of regular vinyl for sides and handles (leaves a leftover piece 7”x28”)
- 12×48” roll of regular vinyl for front base, back, and top binding (leaves a leftover piece 10”x30”)
Directional vinyl will need a 16” wide roll for the back panel since it is 15” tall, so keep this in mind when ordering vinyl.
